Are you aware of what’s going on in the brazillian game development comunity this year? We have three major events to happen in the next couple of months!
Entrace to the Brasil Game Show 2013.
First of them is the Brasil Game Show, taking place in São Paulo, from October 8th to 12th. This game show, that last year had an audience of 150 thousand people, bring new games like Batman Arkham Knight, Assassins Creed Unity, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Fifa15.
The show also has a special place for indie developers, lots of game tourneys and of course, tons of Cosplay.
Unite 2014
Still in October on the 20th and 21th, we have Unite Brasil 2014, also in São Paulo. More focused on the community of game developers, this event will bring news about the new Unity 5.0, about to be released.
One of the main presentations happening at Unite 2014 is from SwordTales, a brazillian company developing the game Toren for PC and PS4. Let’s hope they bring us some really good news!
SBGames 2014
The last event of our list is the SBGames, the biggest and most important encounter of game enthusiasts of the Latin America. This encounter will happen on November 12th, 13th and 14th in Porto Alegre. The SBGames gather every year researchers, artists, designers, teachers and students from universities, research centers and the game industry.
This year for the first time a Game Jam session will be happening during the SBGames, where 5 teams will have 48 hours to build games arouns a single theme, revealed on the first day of the event.
We still won’t be exposing anything in any of them, but we will for sure try to go to them all! What about you? Have plans to attend any of them? Tell us about it in the comments section!
